Tom Briston recently represented Harness Therapeutics at the ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ผ๐ป’๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ง๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ, hosted by The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, in New York
The conference brought together experts across Parkinson’s research and therapeutic development, and offered valuable insights into emerging scientific approaches and the challenges of turning discoveries into effective treatments.
These discussions are particularly relevant to us at Harness. Our Parkinson’s programme, supported by a grant from The Michael J. Fox Foundation, uses our ๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐® platform to increase both GCase and its trafficking partner LIMP2. The aim is to restore lysosomal function and develop a disease-modifying therapy for GBA1-associated Parkinson’s disease.
We’re looking forward to continuing to work with the community towards new therapeutic options for people living with Parkinson’s.
