Great to have been part of the International Conference on Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease AD/PD 2026 last week.

A real mix of insight, innovation, and honest conversations — not only around the mechanisms underlying neurodegeneration and potential treatments, but also tackling the challenges and what meaningful progress should truly look like.

Proud to have had Aleksandra Pitera there, contributing to research focused on dual-targeting antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) – an approach exploring controlled upregulation of specific proteins in the treatment of Parkinson’s and related conditions.

A reminder of how important collaboration in this complex field is and how much there is to do.

Lots to take away and digest as we start to ramp up our own programme for GBA-PD.
