World Alzheimer's Day highlights the continued need for research that deepens our understanding of neurodegenerative disease and supports the development of new therapeutic approaches.

Scientific progress takes time, collaboration and persistence – but every discovery helps to move Alzheimer's research forward.

At Harness Therapeutics, this is a challenge we're contributing to directly. Alongside our lead programme in Huntington's disease and our Parkinson's disease programme, we have an early-stage programme targeting nuclear import receptors relevant to both ALS and Alzheimer's disease based on our MISBA® platform, which is designed to unlock previously undruggable, genetically validated targets through precise, controlled protein upregulation.

It's early days, but we're proud to be part of the wider research community working toward better outcomes for people affected by Alzheimer's.
